CULTIVAR ROYAL
MAIN PLACE OF CULTIVATION: Southern-central Spain, specifically in the Andalusia Region, in the Sierra Cazorla area.
AROMAS: Hints of fresh grass balanced by the sensory notes of ripe fruit—banana, green apple, and even almond.
FLAVOR: An intense and fruity flavor profile, with distinct notes of apple, almond, and fig. Slightly bitter and gently spicy.
TYPICAL AROMAGRAM:
CONSERVATION: Store in a cool, dry place, away from light and heat sources. Once opened, minimize exposure to air to preserve its quality.
USE IN THE KITCHEN: Its balanced nature makes it perfect for dressings and vinaigrettes. Ideal for fresh salads, vegetables, fish, and seafood. Also suitable for baking and desserts.
AGRONOMIC CHARACTERISTICS:
The Royal cultivar flowers early, but its fruits ripen
later than other varieties. The trees are vigorous and consistently produce high yields.
Olives are dark purple in color. Despite their low oil yield, such oil is superior in quality.
